Mike Elkins

As Executive Director of the Cebrin Goodman Center, Mike Elkins leads the grant making efforts related to the drug and alcohol abuse prevention endeavors of the Foundation. Toward this end, Mr. Elkins identifies, oversees and supports collaborative relationships with organizations that share this mission.

Mr. Elkins has a Master’s degree in Social Work, with extensive training and experience in drug abuse, prevention, intervention, and aftercare. He brings twenty years of experience developing and implementing drug and alcohol prevention and intervention programming gained during his thirty year tenure as a school social worker at High School District 225 (Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South High Schools.)

Mr. Elkins earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Northwestern University and a Masters of Social Work from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois.
