Hailey Goodman, Larry and Lillian’s granddaughter, joined the Goodman Family Foundation in 2012. As Program Officer for Israel Projects, she manages the Goodman Camping Initiative for Modern Israel History, and the Be’er-Sheva, Israel projects portfolio.

Over her many travels to Israel, she has fostered a passion for the Negev region and the projects the Foundation supports.  She also participated in a Taglit Birthright Israel trip, and spent a semester abroad at Ben-Gurion University where she studied the History of modern Israel and Jewish identity.

Hailey received her M.A. degree in Global & International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  The focus of her graduate studies was current global trends and processes with an emphasis on the role of the non-profit/third sector as an innovative source of benefits to humanity and the environment in the “globalized” age. She previously served as a Policy Intern for Jewish World Watch, an organization in Los Angeles that began as a Jewish response to genocide in Darfur and has grown into a global coalition of schools, synagogues, and individuals.
