The Lillian and Larry Goodman Foundations are dedicated to strengthening Jewish life in Chicago, the United States and Israel, as well as improving the quality of life within the Chicago metropolitan area by supporting secular organizations which address hunger issues and promote the prevention of drug abuse.

Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute

In July 2012, the Foundation gifted the Springfield-based youth drug prevention program, the Illinois Teen Institute, with a substanial grant to keep the program going after government budget cuts. Now known as the Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute, the national award winning prevention program emphasizes positive peer influence and helps youth and adults join together to prevent alcohol and other drug use.
