The Greater Chicago Food Depository is a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community. The Food Depository’s 268,000 square-foot warehouse distributes more than 58 million pounds of food each year. Lead support from the Lillian and Larry Goodman Foundations has allowed the Food Depository to invest resources to enhance the response to hunger through their network of 600 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters.
