The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center

L & L Goodman Theater

Panel 3 of 3

The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center reaches thousands of schoolchildren throughout Illinois and the Midwest. In addition to the Holocaust, issues related to Darfur, Rwanda, Cambodia and other modern atrocities are carefully integrated into Museum exhibits, curricula and field trip experiences. The Museum also makes available to teachers learning materials to integrate into their own curricula. In Illinois, specifically, students are required by law to learn about the Holocaust and other genocides; the Museum helps to fulfill this mandate.
